Graduation Attire:

Caps and gowns are required for Honors Convocation and Graduation. Wear your caps with the short peak on the forehead. Tassels are worn on your right and are not changed from right to left upon receipt of your diploma, as this practice signifies receipt of a college degree. Graduation is a formal event. Adult behavior is expected. Students need to come to the ceremony appropriately dressed for the occasion; business casual or casual dressy. No jewelry, pins or anything extraneous to the ceremony should be worn outside of the cap and gown. Decorations and writing on caps and gowns is not permitted.  Indigenous cultural décor, eagle feathers or eagle plumes are allowed to be attached to caps. The only cords that may be worn during the graduation ceremony are the gold National Honor Society cords and military decoration. We are working with the senior leadership to provide a ceremony that will be both meaningful and memorable for students and for families in attendance.
